Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Debt Destroyer collects no personal data whatsoever. The app does not request the internet permission, has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Data Storage

All financial information you enter — income, paychecks, bills, debts, budgets, events, receipts, and settings — is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Backups are created only when you choose to export one, saved as a single JSON file to a location you pick through the Android system file picker. You are in full control of any backup file you create.

Receipt Capture & OCR

Receipt Capture lets you attach a photo to a payment and uses Google ML Kit Text Recognition to pre-fill the amount. Recognition runs entirely on your device; receipt images are never uploaded. Note: on first use, Google Play Services may download the on-device recognition model to your phone. That download is handled by Google Play Services under Google's Privacy Policy; Debt Destroyer itself sends nothing.

Purchases

The optional "Gift the Dev" feature uses Google Play Billing. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or store your payment details.

Children

Debt Destroyer does not collect data from anyone, including children.
