Privacy Policy

The Short Version

EvoKB is a keyboard, and keyboards see everything you type — which is exactly why EvoKB transmits none of it. No keystroke logging, no typing telemetry, no cloud prediction, no accounts, no analytics, no ads.

What You Type

Everything you type is processed on your device solely to provide keyboard functionality (input, corrections, suggestions). Typing data is never stored beyond what the keyboard needs to function, never used to build a profile, and never sent off the device.

Themes & Live Aura

The Eden theme colors itself from your surroundings:

• Default (wallpaper aura) — uses Android's wallpaper colors API. No permissions, no image capture.
• Live Aura (optional) — if you grant the accessibility capability, the keyboard samples the screen behind it purely to compute dominant colors. The sample is processed in memory, on-device, used only for theming, and discarded immediately. It is never stored, analyzed for content, or transmitted. You can disable this at any time in system settings.

Purchases

Optional supporter features ("Gift the Dev" / supporter key) use Google Play Billing. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or store your payment details.

Children

EvoKB does not collect data from anyone, including children.
